HIPs UK specialises purely in the production of a HIP (Home Information Packs) which is now a mandatory requirement in the UK. We have access to Domestic Energy Assessors throughout the country and so location is no issue!

We get our instructions from either the public directly or through estate agents acting on their clients behalf.

The order process is very quick and simple and as soon as this is done we send the confirmation to the estate agents that you have chosen to market your home- As soon as the compulsory information is ready we will inform them and they can start fully marketing the property.

From 6th April 2009 you will need to have certain information in the HIP before you can start marketing- these are:

  • Sales Statement (We complete this for you)
  • Property Information Questionnaire (You willl need to complete this form and will give you more information at the time of ordering)
  • Index (We complete this for you)
  • Title Information (We request this information as soon as we have placed the order)
  • Energy Perfomance Certificate (A Domestic Energy Assessor will contact either yourself or your agents for an appointment time)

In addition to the above we also request a local search and Water & Drainage search although we have 28 days to gather this information and will not initially impact on marketing the property.

We have access to conveyancing teams if you do not already have a solicitor who can look through the HIP on completion to make sure that there are no potential issues which may arise in the conveyancing process,  if you would like to know more about their services then just ask at the time of ordering your HIP.
